Either… they both aren’t all that… Ohio State has more speed on the outside and the better QB.

You’re either elite, or you’re not. We don’t practice to beat somebody, we practice to beat everybody.

Melter finish on deck right now in Ann Arbor though. Wish it hadn’t stopped snowing

I would say Michigan. Ohio State has ridiculous talent at WR and they’d be going after our secondary.

Michigan loves to run the ball and our strength is stopping the run.

If this all plays out though is this semi worst case scenario? Would they put Bama right back to 2 and give them a chance to stay in with a close loss in the SEC championship game?

Don’t see that happening with MI and ND both at 1 loss.

Maybe the bigger question is how does UM match up to Minnesota in the B1GCG?

*ETA - It'll either be Iowa or Wisconsin repoing B1G West vs Michigan.

Hope you’re right. Would seem a little ridiculous to possibly have to beat them two games in a row.

A 2 loss Bama wouldn’t jump a 1 loss Oklahoma state, 1 loss ND or undefeated Cincinnati

You mean all those teams would jump a 2 loss Bama bc they wouldn’t be jumping anyone if they’re already #2.

Buckeyes can't stop the run for shite. It's kind of pathetic.

Michigan I’d say. They have a great defense and strong run game.

That’s what I said. No one is disputing Bama being in if they beat Georgia. If they beat Georgia, they will most likely move to #1 and Georgia would be #3. If Georgia beats Bama, then Bama is out and It’s 1. Georgia 2. Michigan 3. Cincinnati 4. Oklahoma State or Notre Dame

Damn, I thought Minnesota was in. It's down to Iowa and Wisconsin. If Minnesota beats Wisky, Iowa goes, but if the Badgers win they have the tiebreaker in the West.

quote:

Iowa fans are now huge Minnesota fans

The Hawkeyes and Gophers have their own rivalry, playing for the Floyd of Rosedale every season, but they'll be putting the hate aside on Saturday. Well, at least Iowa fans will. Iowa eliminated Minnesota from contention in the Big Ten West with this win, but the Hawkeyes still need Minnesota to beat Wisconsin. Because of Wisconsin's 27-7 win over the Hawkeyes earlier this season, the Badgers hold the tie-breaker. That means if Wisconsin wins tomorrow, both teams finish 7-2 in the Big Ten but Wisconsin will head to Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship. So, put on your maroon and gold, Iowa fans. You're Minnesota fans now.

Committee is being politically correct with Cincinnati but truth is, they should be left out even if 12-0. There would still be 3 or 4 teams below them who are substantially higher quality. (We're going to put in a team from the American Athletic Conference...seriously?)

But maybe Houston will surprise Cincinnati in their game next Saturday.

8-team playoff will be nice one day, though. Will eliminate some of the current issues even if it extends everything another week.
