LSU tickets are cheaper than that
I will say attendance for these non conf games have been much better for LSU than in the recent past
Usually fans don't show up until SEC play but the fans and students have made the PMAC actually a fun place to watch hoops this early in the season
Once school is out for semester will probably be less students

All 20k tickets are sold at Bud Walton this year

No getting in Bud Walton during SEC play unless you got season tickets this year

What is a "get in" price? And why is there a difference between home and road. The road game is always someone else's home is it not? Why would those be separate? And who the hell is paying $51 to watch Ole Miss?

Haha I’ve been to OM new arena a couple times and got in for $20. Sat right above students each time.

The weird thing about the Pavilion is it’s hard to get tickets on the side where the players sit because of some buffet over there lol.

It was 3/4 empty on that side and I was right across from the Arkansas bench each time I went. Wanted to sit behind Arkansas bench but had to have a ticket to get on that side because of “buffet” they claimed haha

Yeah, it’s not too hard to get in to a 15,383 seat
arena on a random Tuesday night, even for a conference game.

Our new facility needs to be smaller.

The "Get In" price is the cheapest available ticket at the moment on Stubhub.

Why would there not be a possible difference between a home game and a road game?

For instance, for Kentucky's 9 SEC games at Rupp, the average Get-In price for those nine games is $91.

For Kentucky's 9 SEC road games this year (played in 9 different venues), those prices average $70.78.

The road stats are interesting because you can see which teams bring about more interest among other SEC schools. When Kentucky comes to town, fans want to come to the game to see their team play Kentucky.... its amazing how much more money people will pay to watch their team play Kentucky compared to watching them play some other random SEC team.

You have to take in account capacity... Tennessee and UK both have over 20k seat arenas - while a good amount of teams have half of that.

I wouldn't spend my hard earn money to watch any sport. Come on watch on t.v. Colleges have plenty of money.

I think what it means is how much does your team raise the value of the home teams ticket. I.e. if Kentucky is playing in Athens the avg. ticket price will be higher than USCe in Athens.

No, you don't. One could argue their ticket price is due to capacity but this was not the point of the thread.

I mean I get that but the product is still bad. Why would anyone pay that price to see them?

Yeah I got pretty good tickets from someone now and then that are at mid-court and they're almost half that price.
