Watched/Listened on the way to work tonight. If you let Mullen tell it, they beat a sure enough powerhouse Saturday. He kept going on and on about all the "resilience" and his team is full of competitors. About how EJ played a stellar game setting records and that it should overshadow the bad, and how they DOMINATED SAMFORD after going down 42-35 at half to come back and outscore them 35-10. His arrogance and off putting attitude really are rubbing me the wrong way. When we are winning it is easy to put up with some of that shite, but when we are in a dog fight against a subpar FCS school...

I mean, Saban once went off on the press because they had the same attitude against lesser opponents. Probably my bad a lot to do with the ULM game in his rear view, it he wasn’t wrong.
We won. Finally, after 5 weeks away from the Swamp. Instead of criticizing it, which is warranted, at least try to use that momentum to win the next game.

To me, its not the fact that we won. I'm happy we won. But don't go beating on your chest about how they are a "good team who scores a lot of points", yet they were held to 13 points by Chattanooga 3 weeks prior. I'm just ready for this season to end and the next to begin. No matter if it is with Mullen or not.

I have to believe he knows the defense is garbage and is just pumping sunshine and coach speaking.
No way he really thinks Samford should ever score even half of what they did against the Gators.

It appears recruiting isn't going to be anywhere near GA soon with Mullen here. I think its time we moved on but highly doubt we do if he wins out. You have to be competitive near the top there with Georgia producing these 11-1+ pre-SECCG records most years now.
