I think Harsin brought in Bobo and Mason to ease his translation to the SEC

But what he’s learning is that the SEC is too cutthroat to have mediocre coaches on staff just for the sake of experience. Will Friend is another mediocre coach who has never been particularly good anywhere but was brought in.
Hopefully there is a big change in stuff over the next offseason where we go after some people for reasons other than experience

Maybe this is a dumb question, but why would we go after a coach for anything other than experience?

Lol I’m not saying experience is bad, but it’s when you grab someone JUST for the sake of experience.
Bobo was coming off a terrible stint at Colorado State, and was most recently coming off being the OC of a pathetic South Carolina team. There was no reason for him to be our OC other than the fact he had been around the SEC a while
