Officials with the University of Alabama announced today that effective imediately, Bryant-Denny stadium would be renamed Simpson Stadium. When asked about the sudden change, UA athelic director Mal Moore responded by stating "After consulting with our board of supervisors, we reached a consensus that the stadium's name should reflect the support of the fans" he further added "We felt that Simpson Stadium was the best possible name, because when our games sell out we have 92,138 Homers in the stands"

On a side note, Phil Fulmer has been names the new president of FEMA, as he sucessfully evacuated 100,000 people in 12 minutes last week.
