It seems to me that Jackson made the call based on the formation alone.

If Dan had veen smart enough to just bat the ball backwards, we would have had a td. Though the safety worked out.
But when you know you got help, bat the ball to a player further in bounds.
I think if he left it alone Dean was in better position to cover it.

That is coachable in that situation, i thought he was ball hawking but take the results eitherway.

I've been impressed with Jackson this season. Kid came out of nowhere and has done some great things on ST. He even had a nice hit on defense last week.

Alas, I cannot claim credit. This is the first time I can recall seeing Jackson called Dirty Dan.
