I really do believe he wants to be there until he retires. He recently upgraded to a bigger retirement house in Hot Springs.

I'd love to see Pittman take us back to prominence. There's not a fake bone in that man's body. I don't know if the kids love him or not, but I think I would. I think I would kill or die on the field for someone like that.

I have never been out on Pittman, I figure the worst he would ever do is make us not an embarrassment. Definitely build a great base of good recruits and kids. Then if he didn’t succeed, we would be in a place where every coach would want to come instead of getting Dana Altman’d.
The more I see of Pittman, the more I am in on him. He seems personable. Confident on selling Arkansas. I will trust his judgement until he shows he is all in on a non winning plan. Example: in year 3 if we still have depth issues on defense, that’s 3 whole classes, 75+7 of the 85 scholarship kids will be the ones you recruited.

I’m wondering why you would bring up Gus in a thread about Pittman. I personally never think about him. Yet someone mentions him in every thread about any head coach.

I will be happy when Gus goes into whatever post football purgatory he gets sent after UCF. Slinging Viagra or Depends. But then again I could see him running for senator in Alabama or Arkansas like Tuberville.
