think the same could be said for everyone not named Bama or Clemson in the past. OU isn’t any different than any other top 5 team over the past 10 years. All of them have lost to Bama and Clemson teams that were head and shoulders above the rest. That’s changing tho. OU has greatly closed the talent gap and the future looks even better. Riley will win the big ones with the athletes he’s getting.

Of all the team that had made aleast 3 appearances in CFP the Sooners have yet to make to a championship game.

Oklahoma current roster and incoming class would rank 5th and 4th respectively in the SEC. Please don't think I'm an SEC snob either Oklahoma has a great program but until y'all get over the hump it is what it is.

OUs current roster is 3rd in the SEC in blue chip ratio and talent composite, the 2022 class was 3rd yesterday and 4th today in the SEC and will finish top 3 or 4. 2023 is 1st with a massive lead, which is the “sec announcement” class. So yea OU can absolutely compete and win the SEC in the future with top 5 classes, and the QB talent Riley always has.
