But really, are we just not recruiting Arkansas kids hard?

Crazy that we have a bunch of out of state 4 stars committed, while not one in-state kid is committed to us with several in-state 4 stars to choose from

I'd rather have a bunch of damn dawgs from Miss, Alabama, and Georgia, especially on defense, than reaching on in-state kids like we have for decades.

Sometimes they work out but often times they don't even compete for the 2 deep.

Pittman's current class looks more like a class from Bama than it does a traditional Arkansas class... Snd I'm fine with that.

Also, the portal has totally changed the game.

The high school coaching, player development and community support for football in Arkansas is behind many states in that it would be better to recruit states that just have more of it.

Since Pittman has been here, he has done a better job getting good players from out of state than previous staffs.

They say Arkansas can't get the good players from out of state but that just isn't true as the state of Arkansas is surrounded by states that have plenty of talent. These power five programs can't get them all and so Arkansas might as well keep fighting for better players.
