A classic mistake. Words evolve. And the use of words means different things in different context.

One of the great tactics of certain folks is to throw a word out - a "semantic argument" - and then pretend that because a certain word was used that all discussion is then constrained around the debate of a definition - which they will then insist they know and control because they applied the word first to the situation.

If your getting screwed by the company store - nobody gives to shits if it's "theft" or "fraud" - other than the store.

And nobody with a brain gives two shits about the guy screaming "words have meaning". Only math has meaning. Everything else is subjective.
