He'll get 2-8 yrs and do about 20% of his sentence, if that, which could be as little as 6 months.

Daunte Stallworth had a similarly heinous DUI/manslaughter incident and only did 30 days in jail and was on house arrest for 2 yrs and got probation.

The prosecutor will probably try to get famous from the Ruggs case and likely will try to throw the book at him..

Most wrongful death/manslaughter incidents don't get heavy prison sentences, but they do ruin your life for about a decade. There's no way he should get 28 yrs. That's insane

Uhh, no.

You must have missed the story posted earlier about a much less horrific DUI death at the hands of a prominent Las Vegas real estate broker who was sentenced to 8-20.

LINK

Even the defense attorney asked for 6 years.

No way in hell.

Absolutely irrelevant. Ruggs didn't kill anyone in Florida. No probation for this crime in Las Vegas.

Are you high? Stallworth was going 100 MPH slower than Ruggs. And his victim wasn't burned alive while screaming.

He should do 20 years. His actions led to unintentional murder.

Donte Stallworth’s situation isn’t in the same stratosphere in terms of facts of the case.

Big differences between the two...

Stallworth wasn't nearly as drunk, wasn't speeding nearly as fast (barely enough to receive a ticket), and the guy caused the situation by walking/running out in front of Stallworth

Not really comparable IMO
