He needs to do what he does best.....RUN!!!!!!!!
As far as what should happen to him if he doesn't run, he should never leave prison you simply cannot pull what he did. If in the Middle East they'd chop his head off.

He'll get 2-8 yrs and do about 20% of his sentence, if that, which could be as little as 6 months.
Daunte Stallworth had a similarly heinous DUI/manslaughter incident and only did 30 days in jail and was on house arrest for 2 yrs and got probation.
The prosecutor will probably try to get famous from the Ruggs case and likely will try to throw the book at him..
Most wrongful death/manslaughter incidents don't get heavy prison sentences, but they do ruin your life for about a decade. There's no way he should get 28 yrs. That's insane

You have interestingly extreme takes on this and only trying to find what might be middle ground. What is your take on Ted Kennedy? For reference sake.
