They beat Miss st who is currently ranked and they beat the brakes off of state. They also beat Ole Miss, who they handled decisively. Lost to A&M by 3 points… it was a game. Who have you beat decisively? Y’all have not dominated a game from start to finish to be considered good! Just the truth man. They have.

I haven't brought up OU once. I don't think OU deserves to be in the top 4 unless they win out.

None of those wins you listed are impressive except the Ole Miss win and that was with Kiffin being an idiot. State lost to freaking Memphis and LSU. If they beat Auburn and Georgia than they will deserve it. Not right now with their resume. Take your blinders of man.

You do realize OU has been the 4 seed 3 times out of 4 games in the cfp and that means we face the best team in the nation in those games so yes we are expected to lose and we did. Every team in here except LSU has and will never be in the spot of Bama OU UGA becuase you have never been good enough to be considered in the top 4. You do understand the same thing would of happened if you played LSU in 2019-20? They beat everyone in the s c handily including Bama .
Once we are in the conference you won’t have anymore excuses

I do agree OU is placed exactly where they should be . They have played one complete game but you also have to realize we have the longest win streak in college football and we beat the mighty Gators by like 35 points . There is zero chance OU is getting left out undefeated when they will have beaten 5 ranked teams when it’s all said and done .

What top teir teams will they have played?! I am all for MSU (or OSU), Oregon, Bama, and UGA. Y’all simply do not belong at that table.

BYU is one game away from being 5 and 0 in the PAC. The PAC isn't impressing many people this year.

the top teams they have played doesn't matter until the season is over which means it could be 4 to 6 teams in the final polls if the Sooners go undefeated.

Best course of action is to hold off to the end of the season, but OU is appropriately ranked.

I don’t know why you keep bringing OU up when all I have talked about is Bama’s ranking? If OU wins out they will have beaten the current 11th & 12th ranked teams on the road and will have beaten one of those two teams twice.

Arkansas will be ranked by the time we play Bama. We will be ranked Sunday

Also in our one common opponent with OU this year we beat them soundly while OU struggled and had to come back and win

OU has struggled with every game besides last week and they have all been against bad teams.

I’d love to play OU this year

You know Bama has beaten top 20 teams, right? You’re a weird guy.

1. Iowa state isn’t ranked.
2. Baylor and Ok St only plays y’all as a ranked opponent.
Explain to be how thats a hard schedule. Maybe 1 top ten win for the season for y’all…

I'm more the type of guy that Knows NE is a great team despite the fact I tired of their winning and absolutely loved Brady and TB beating NE. Same with Bama but Saban is the GOAT and built the greatest college football dynasty of all time.

I don't have to explain a damn thing, you saw the tweet and the source.

The fact that PFF is stating that Wake Forest has one of the hardest schedules remaining discredits that entire list.

Why do you think OU and Texas are bailing on the Big 12 for the SEC? OU's season is the counter-punch to the argument I hear over and over that OU is better off being kings of the Big 12 puddle rather than slugging it out in the SEC each season. The SEC, especially the top half of the conference, is just too damn strong relative to everyone else. And the conference's trajectory is sky-high while the Big 12 is stagnant. OU is better off being a 9-3 team in the SEC most seasons than 11-1 in the Big 12. And for Texas, they suck in the Big 12. Might as well suck in the best conference and get paid handsomely for it. That's the approach Mizzou took.

This exactly, the whole point is to get better, OU is committing to attempting to get better, to play better and improve. I think we all realize that. This post is a unbiased and realistic view. OU can keep doing what its doing but it will always be at a disadvantage compared to top tier SEC teams. Coming to the SEC will change that. The realistic view is that OU will hold its own but not dominate for the first several years, but will transition given its program and compete at the top tier winning some and losing some over the long haul, and in the new horizon of college football, that is a forward thinking view for success.

Off Topic - why is Oklahoma always referred to as OU instead of UO? Do they call themselves OU?

Since nobody answered this question I will.

Yes, Oklahoma calls itself "OU". Just like Kansas calls itself "KU" and Colorado calls itself "CU" and Nebraska called itself "NU" for decades before they started going with "UNL". The old Big 6/7/8 conference apparently mandated this nomenclature somewhere along the way. I think around World War II era.

If that’s the case y’all have done pretty shitty in your season long bowl games and have no room to be running your yapper.

They knew the next TV contract was going to be really low and they felt they had to move to another conference. I'm sure the reason they chose the SEC is because of the TV money AND playing more power teams helps to recruit. You are not wrong about the money but I assure you OU and TEXAS are not moving so they can suck and get paid for it.

Whatever your school expects and demands from the football team isn't anything like OU and Texas. Any reasonable fan knows OU is not going to win the conference every year. But with a 12 team playoff, the SEC may have as many as 4 potential playoff teams which is why the PAC. BIG, and ACC had their parley.

Making the playoffs is the number two team goal for many schools especially in the SEC. The boost to recruiting for teams that make the playoffs is significant.

1, win their conference, 2, make playoffs, 3, win a natty and if Missouri's football team's goal is to play second fiddle every year you need a new AD and Coach.
