Is this a first offense? If so, his money will get him off light. He will simply pay a lot of money to lawyers and the family and will probably be playing in the NFL in 2 years after serving some suspension. (See Ray Lewis)

I wish this dude made better decisions, then someone would be a live today. You have that much money, drink that is fine, but call a damn cab.

Uh, no. The mood in America has toughened up
considerably against drunk driving in recent years
and especially where it leads to injury or
death for victims---NFL player or not---and the
more money you have, the more will be taken by
lawyers and suits.
Ruggs' Adidas contract will be or is already canceled
---his $millions in guaranteed money will rapidly
dissolve. In Nevada, DUI causing death is
punishable by a minimum of two years in prison &
maximum of 20, first offense or not. It's likely to
drag in court for months---and regardless of
the eventual outcome, Henry Ruggs' life will never be
the same. (all of course based on blood alcohol
above legal limit)
