They beat Ole Miss by 11. Wow. They lost to Penn State. They got blown out by Georgia.
Alabama destroyed Ole Miss. We were up 35-7 going into the 4th. It wasn't even competitive.
Yet, for some reason now everyone thinks Auburn is this incredibly dangerous team? I don't see it. Auburn will lose to aTm, and lose to Alabama to finish 8-4 - possibly even 7-5 if MSU clips them.
Also, this fawning over Bryan Harsin. He inherited a former 5-star veteran SEC QB, and a great running back. Gus Malzahn would likely have them in this same position.
He's also ranked 13th in the SEC in this recruiting cycle.
I'm not buying the hype

I’m not either, to be honest. But your post is shite.
We’re very obviously improving each week. We went from a team with 14 drops against Georgia to a team that is passing the ball all over the field. Our defense went from missed assignments that gave up big plays down field to a defense that held Ole Miss to their lowest point total of the season.
I think it’s a big challenge for us to go into A&M with the SEC West on the line and win. But we certainly have made a case for being a team worth betting on.

This is calling out an overrated team, and an overrated coach.
They're not bad, but they're not some juggernaut. People are talking as if Auburn could potentially win the division. It's pretty ridiculous.

Lol. Now, Bo is a 5-star veteran QB and Harsin just inherited him...

In all honesty they could. They win out they go. I don’t think they will beat AM or Bama. But for us it’s always a very tough out in Jerdun-Hair.
But AU does suck on general principle

It's not an opinion. That's stating a fact.
Everybody was talking shite about Auburn all offseason, and I knew they would be pretty good. Bo Nix has always been a decent college QB capable of making big plays. Hell, he led Auburn to an Iron Bowl win 2 years ago. He's absolutely an SEC veteran.
Auburn has a good team, but they're not on an elite level. They stand no chance vs. Alabama or aTm.
The jury is still out on Harsin, and whether or not he can recruit
Gus Malzahn left him a nice little roster with a veteran QB. I mean, you can't deny that.

You know your problem?
Well, you have two actually.
You care too much about what people say.
You care too much in general.

He did inherit a really good situation compared to what most new coaches walk into.
Time will tell if he’s any good.

I would not touch this game either way with a 20-foot pole.
There is absolutely no way to predict a winner. Could go either way all day long, playing 10 times in a row.

Now, imagine what this staff could have done with a Jeremy Johnson or a Malik Willis.
Gus didn’t want to hire a QB guru. He didn’t want to feel “out done.” He was like the narcissistic husband who never wanted his wife to work when she was wanting to go to work because he wanted people to think he was the MAN.
Mullen is so much like Gus in that he wants everyone to label him the QB whisperer or offensive guru but has absolutely NO AWARENESS about other aspects of the program and just wants to be left the frick ALONE.

They've done what teams are supposed to do - get better every week. They're a solid team playing with a lot of confidence right now. Their defense is good enough to keep most offenses in the league in check.
