Completely agree. He probably should’ve gotten the start if he is healthy.

Look at all these fricking retards still defending this shite. WE HAVE TO PLAY BAMA AND OHIO STATE. You have to have someone that can get the fricking ball into the end zone. I know you love Bennett, and he’s great for what he does, but Jesus fricking Christ let’s move on

Kirby likes continuity. That's why he wouldn't give Fields any significant PT to develop when we were winning games with Fromm. So the more talented player bolted, made Kirby looked dumb shattering records the next season at OSU, while Fromm shite the bed with a regressed QBR and we didn't win anything. His 87 yards passing in the SEC Championship game was quite special... lol Let's hope we don't see a replay.

Best case: We never play anyone through the playoffs that can handle our defense, we win it all with Bennett, and he becomes a modern day Buck Belue. Maybe he goes on to coach Pierce County to a championship. Or maybe he calls UGA games 20 years from now.

Worst case: Daniels doesn't get called to play until Bennett's limitations finally get exposed. Bennett comes back next season and Daniels transfers elsewhere or declares for draft. Smart then becomes known as a master of sabotaging his QBs.

Stetson is our QB. The sooner yall accept that the less disappointed yall will be later.

I’m guessing JT will get the next start. Smart wanted to keep the momentum going with Bennett, especially since he was getting more reps in practice while Daniels was being eased back in. He played well enough today but not well enough to end the QB conversation.

I bet JT gets the lion’s share of snaps on the first team this coming week and is the starter from here on out, unless he gets injured again.

I believe JT was ready to play IF he was needed. Did everyone notice his chest padding on the sideline? I'm glad we got through this game and he gets another week to heal further. Maybe he starts next week against Mizzou and Stet comes in for the 2nd half. If that happens and JT looks good he will likely start the rest of the year.
We'll see next Saturday.
