Rome just said that if Alabama beat UGA, that Saban would be the greatest head coach of all time. I think this guy is a burn victim with down syndrome, but please share your thoughts

i agree...uga hasnt exactly impressed me this year i dont think they lived up to their number 1 hype they had in the beggining of the year and i think they were overrated....nick saban is not the best coach of all time...he may be one of the best recruiters of this time but def not the best coach

One big win is far from being the greatest coach of all time.

I agree he's a great coach but I don't think beating UGA this weekend would rocket him to a "greatest of all time" status.

He's obviously a very good coach, just not the greatest of all time. That's ridiculous.

This is insulting to burn victims with down syndrome.

I'll say that tricky nickey is a RECRUITING MACHINE! But not even close to the best coach of all time.

I am sure Rome is pretty aware that statement is far from true.

Maybe he was saying that Georgia is going to beat the hell out of Bammer and if Bammer pulls one out of their arse, it will make Saban the greatest coach of all time. Obviously, he doesn't think that the players can win. It has to be the coach.

Obviously a ridiculous attempt to get people talking... and here we are talking about it.

How good, then, is the coach for ULM?

I would assume that he's saying that because he thinks Bama has no chance.

Well,it would be a helluva a job by him turning them around so quickly.Still you don't drop a home game vs La Monroe and in less than a year become the greatest head coach of all time. No way.

he definately said that if Saban won in Athens in his first two years at Bama, that he would be the greatest college coach of all time. But I know, people on ESPN can't be held accountable for what they say! Even though they are payed for exactly that

Are you sure he wasn't taking a shot at Bama fans with this comment? I didn't hear what he says, but knowing Rome, that sounds like what it is.
