I think Saban benefitted by playing in an SEC devoid of talented QBs. Every School you mentioned gave Saban issues when they had a decent QB. Tennessee has been behind at that position for the last 15 years.

Which is why whenever they faced an OOC with a good QB they got throttled.

He has beaten more good QBs than he has lost to. It takes a QB's career best and that is rare, real rare.
