Meant to ask this on game day but does anyone have a clue what was going on with Burks on his last TD? Go back and watch it, if you don’t know what I’m talking about. He scores on a long TD pass and immediately shrugs in exasperation in the end zone and then tosses the ball and walks off shaking his head without celebrating with anyone. Super odd way to celebrate a big time TD on 4th down. I thought it was odd during the game but just rewatched it and still can’t figure it out.

And Alexander wept, seeing as he had no more worlds to conquer.“ it was probably so easy for him Saturday that it wasn’t even fun.

I thought it was the disrespect.

Single coverage with no safety.

4th down iirc.

Just a guess but I would think Burks probably knows plenty of UAPB players. He grew up just down the road from Pine Bluff. Maybe he didn’t want to kick them while they’re down. Wasn’t it about a 40 point lead at that point?

Telling us that we should be starting Malik over KJ and let Briles go, obviously.

Correct. That was probably it. I thought he was hurt at first because it was so odd and unemotional. Your reasoning makes sense though with the situation.

It was and it was 4th down. I don’t think a 40 TD pass was what anyone was expecting. Had me in my feels a bit because it reminded me of Petrino and how cutthroat he was.

If you watch ole Miss, that’s what our offense could be. Had Bert not refused to recruit. We would have a solid 2-3 deep like Ole Miss.

And that offense is take all the points they give you. Take any yard they give you. It isn’t built for time killing drives.

That’s why we looked so good against Ole Miss in the final 5m.
