Playa I’m saying the only reason people live in NMS is because the real estate cost is a fraction of what it cost to live in Memphis. They can’t afford Memphis

That’s a fact playa.

Also, there is two decent public HS in Memphis and that’s Houston High and White Station and you better be in AP classes at both or you are in trouble. If you live in Memphis you better send your kids to private school or they are in trouble.

Grew up in that city, went to private school in that city and lived there up until 5 years ago. I know it well.

The rich people live around Memphis country club area or in neighborhood before the 240 loop.

Memphis is one of the best basketball city’s in the US. There are more fans of SEC teams in that town than the Memphis Tigers and it isn’t close.

Nobody in Birmingham cares about basketball. Maybe they somewhat started last year.

Memphis had the SEC tournament in the early 90s and it was always a hard ticket to get.

Nashville, Memphis and ATL (although far from SEC basketball schools) should be on the list. I’m not mad about Nashville at all. I am glad I can drive two hours this year to Tampa but don’t think it should be there

Play on playa

Houston is in Germantown and part of the Germantown school system. Whitestation and Ridgeway are the two MCS that have optional programs with good AP classes, but you have to enter a lottery (or have money) to get into those programs.

Most are commuting from Shelby county suburbs is my point. While Cordova and Germantown are somewhat locked out from expanding further, Collierville still has plenty of annexed areas to expand and build more housing.

You’re so behind.

1. As pointed out above Houston is in Germantown and shares a border with Collierville. Collierville recently built the largest public school in the state. Memphis city schools were always separate from Shelby county schools. Collierville, Germantown, and Houston separated and created their own school system when Memphis city schools dissolved into Shelby County schools.
