Only a few tards said we were “back.”

However, I think playing a talented #12 OM team to the wire suggests we’re going in the right direction.

And even though Mizz and SCar are bad, we struggled mightily against those teams for the past decade.

You definitely played us well. But I wouldn't jump to too much of a conclusion yet until you're able to back it up again. I don't see y'all being able to match the stadium energy from Saturday and we were without several big weapons on offense. 3 out of our top 4 RB's and our AA running back was barely able to play coming back from injury. Not to mention our defense went back to hot garbage once Stringer re-aggravated his injury.

Not trying to completely suck the wind out of you but I would certainly wait until you get a better sample-size.

I was chatting with someone yesterday about how we have a legit shot of winning out and how we'd be the worst single loss team in history.

Agree that it's trending in the right direction. The schedule isn't going to do you any favors for the next 3 weeks. If either Bama or Kentucky were in Knoxville I'd feel better about it. It's possible this team goes 6-6, but is better than any Tennessee team since 2016.

I agree that UT is heading in the right direction. I’m an Ole Miss fan & the Vols gave the Rebs a tough game, especially in the 2nd half. It could have gone either way & the Vols had every opportunity to win in the closing seconds. Still, throwing objects that could injure our players & coaches because you disagree with a call made by the refs is unacceptable. The opposing team has to live with the decision of the officiating group as well as the home team, no matter the outcome.
