It's quite alright. 1980 will still get their micro-dicks smashed by Florida (again) followed by Alabama (again) in the SECCG.

And then they'll bark "next year"...

You obviously haven’t looked at our injury report. We are starting a walk-on QB, 2 freshman wr, freshman TE, back up safety, back up DB, and likely a couple of backup OL. All due to injury. All of that means is we haven’t seen the best UGA team on the field yet. Each shite, no simpathy for KY jelly.

I didn't say ky would win or even play it close. What I'm saying is this. Ky has a solid team. Not glamorous but, certainly as solid a team that's been in Lexington in quite a few years.

Their defense is similar to ga. in many ways and they were only getting better. Now they lose 2 ALL-SEC & All-American caliber players on the defensive front and that's where the rough comes into play. Can't be overcome, and that's got to be killing the team and staff at ky. Regardless of how fans may feel on a msg board.

So what you meant to title this post is:

quote:

Injuries will cost ky the opportunity to have any chance at upsetting UGA

If the injuries cost them the upset, then you're implying you believe they definitely would have won with the players on the roster.

While you're factoring in hypotheticals, how about looking at the UGA injury report.

Yep. Injuries would be the only logical explanation as to why Kentucky doesn't beat Georgia.

In a normal conversation, we aren't. Going into a troll thread? Yep. I think obnoxious is fair.

Imagine a Texas A&M fan white knighting for Alabama.

I guess you have not seen our injury report. If Kentucky were to pull the upset can we say that only happened because of our injuries? I’m sure that would not fly with anyone on this board.

Ok Ms Garrison...just because you've traded in your women's clothes and have gone transgender on us doesn't mean you have to continue in your psychotic jealous diatribe.

Like it, you've gotten old.

This is why the OP is saying the upset was no longer possible.

Ky was relatively healthy and Ga. was a little banged up.

So, McCall, Oxidize and Co. were going to be celebrating a lot in the ga. backfield.

That won't happen now... got it?

Too bad those goal posts at Kyle Field didn't move on Saturday

Looked to me like they moved left just enough to keep that stray FG between the uprights.

Are you sure it was an upset?

I'm not using the injury or youth excuses.. although they are applicable to the growth of this football team.

Mainly, we played great in spots as did a&m. We played very poorly in spots as once again, so too did a&m.

We controlled the clock and kept their defense gassed. Problem lied in the REDZONE execution. Or the lack thereof.

That was youth a little bit. B. Young had never been privy to such a raucous atmosphere in his time as a member of the Crimson Tide football team.

The offense hadn't dealt with it in well over 15 months. Now fla will say, "hey We were loud and deafening."

That crowd at a&m made fla's crowd look like the kiddie end of the swimming pool.

So, there was that... experience will correct most of our problems.

But, the biggest reason for the "upset" was coaching. I know, I know. I can't believe I just said that! But, a$m had us at a disadvantage in coaching comparisons.

Nick is still the "GOAT!" But Petey G. & BOB are high-school level coaches.. this more than any other reason or excuses Bama fans can or can't make, is why we sit 5-1 opposed to 6-0.

I won't take anything away from a$m.. we didn't want it! So, they took it from us!

End of story.. history....

We'll be back at the top of things in a yr or maybe by season's end.

But for now, congratulations a$m, ky, ga! See y'all on the flipside!
