Forever this year. I’m ok with it. I think JT Daniels is hurt but Stetson I think has earned it. And his mobility is a factor. It feels like to me this is Kirbys thinking too

I don’t think so.

I think Kirby knows we don’t need JT right now. But we will in December and January.

Still think if Arkansas or Auburn had really gone sideways we’d have seen JT.

Stetson has changed his launch angle and is great at moving around for a passing lane.

I love the kid. JT must be hurt worse than people are leading on.

Seems like Stetson is making good decisions though. It’s all hard to decipher really

Just let JT get healthy. JT would have put 400 on Auburn.

There's a lot of dominoes that fall with that decision, if Smart were to go that route. I am not sure if I would do that if Daniels is in fact 100% in the next week or two. But the "day by day" thing is a bit interesting. It will be interesting to see what they say at practice on Monday.

At this point I think I trust Stetson more than I do Daniels. He lost at bama last year but he just went into a hostile environment against the best team we have played and won. Plus the leg work. Stet has wheels and JT doesn't. Still haven’t seen a pass batted down

Not a chance. While I think Stetson is a phenomenal backup and love his scrambling ability, he and JT are in different leagues when it comes to arm strength, accuracy, deep ball, patience, making reads, etc.

Only one of them will be drafted by an NFL team, and it isn't Stetson.

That's partly why a small minority want Stetson starting. (It's kind of an underdog, anti-elite thing). Well, that and because he's from Georgia and that's very important to a few of the more elderly fans.

Stetson played great today. No weird ints and sold the playaction like a boss. Proud of him

Most of us really don't. We don't leave future NFL'ers on the bench for the backup...even if the backup is doing a commendable job while the starter is out.

For one thing, it's not good for recruiting. Our goal should be to never again sign a QB who doesn't at least have the measurables and arm for the big league. That helps bring in top talent at other positions.

No.

He’s a great backup and would start for a lot of schools, but he’s not even close to having the passing ability if JT.

In order to beat Bama, we need JT.

I can admit what I see in front of my face now. Just couldn’t admit before I guess. He looks like he’s the starter
