In 2006, Bama unveiled statues of the 4 coaches who lead Bama to a National Championship

In 2011, they added Saban's statue.
After many years of making fun of Alabama for doing this, Auburn has now unveiled 3 statues of Dye, Jordan & Hare, the coaches the stadium is named after. Only 1 won a national championship.

This is history but Saban is still your coach, so nothing historic about it. Only dictators have their own statues while still in power.
