Just seen that he will not be available this weekend for the game in Lexington. Looking for LSU fans thoughts on this and how much this will hurt a defense already missing Stingley. I don’t know much about the kid.

He was a Major in the Army, and a surgeon. Most of his fellow surgeons believed he was an idiot and a lousy surgeon. He had no chin.

Although he was married, he was usually found in the sack with Major “ Hot Lips” Houlihan, a nurse.

We suck. It doesn't really matter. Jay Ward is our best safety. It really makes a difference if he plays or not. All the others seem to be pretty interchangeable.

It probably will hurt. I think Ward and Burns were our top safeties. I'm not confident in our other safeties, but it may be an opportunity for someone like Sage Ryan.

He has improved since the first 2 games when he was absolutely terrible, but probably will hurt more from a depth perspective than anything. Like someone else said, ward is our best safety and this will be sage Ryan’s first game this season due to injury. It may not make much of a difference. If LSU loses the game it will likely be for the same reason we lost the other 2 games, our OL is horrific and running game does not exist

Not ideal but don't think there's a huge drop off from Burns to the next guy.

We got plenty of other guys who can look confused and blow coverages, I assure you

Hate to see any of the kids playing ball get hurt - hope he recovers. Seriously.

I do have questions for Mr. and Mrs. Burns - that didn't think it all through when they named their kid Major. At least they didn't name him Peter.

Flott has been good as well. Not sure if Ryan will play. Been hurt all year.

Let’s put it this way, without Burns, we may lose by 17 instead of 14.

Meh, not really a factor. He isn't terrible, but a few times now he has missed tackles and ended up giving up long touchdowns because of it. Jay Ward is the best safety on the team for sure.

Hopefully it means Sage Ryan will get a chance to play. If I am a Kentucky fan, I really hope it means I will see alot of #4 Todd Harris and #21 Jordan Toles because they are both pretty bad despite both being damn near top safety prospects coming out of high school.

Harris looked like he could be good in his early years then got hurt, was abysmal last year and just not good now. Would like to see him turn it around a la Ward and Cam Lewis. Toles is bad but has time on his side. Really hope we can see Sage at some point.
