Absolutely. No one is because Saban is the goat. That's why its weird to me that ppl act like the bar for being a good coach is consistently beating Saban.

Yeah, but here is the rub.
I think Kirby is a really good coach and an outstanding recruiter. I also think it is possible he never wins a national championship as long as Saban is around.
And I don't mean that as a dig on Kirby at all. Playing Alabama twice in a year is a very tall order.
Windows open and close often in the SEC. This might be Smart's best chance during the Saban era.
