Have you ever heard anyone say, "I'm going to Georgia this weekend"?

No. It's always "I'm going to Atlanta" because the state sucks Gary Busey balls and will infect you with inbred aids.
The only difference between Georgia and Mississippi is Georgia has a major city.
Fact.

Doesn’t everyone always say the city they’re going to unless it’s a city no one has heard of?
Like, when I’m going to Nashville I never say “I’m going to Tennessee this weekend”, I say “I’m going to Nashville.”
What sort of people are you having out with?

Sounds pretty damning for Alabama.

I often like to travel to Illinois and Nevada, when the chance arises.

Your infatuation with a blue state is astounding.
Athens (music), Savannah (history), and the Blue Ridge (mountains) are all areas tourists visit outside of Atlanta.

Naw, dude. This ain’t it. Georgia is a great and beautiful state. I mean, the Dawgs can’t win it all, but it ain’t the state’s fault.

I don't disagree with your premise, but I said that very thing last week; but only because I have a sickly older brother in Dalton. Besides,OM never goes to Atlanta - when it really matters.

I've lived in Georgia most of my life and actually it's a pretty cool state. Most of the rural area is a lot like any other southern state, but if you want to party hard (which I don't do anymore) or for entertainment of fine dining, it's a short drive to Atlanta where I live.

Hey Brad, your are a moron. Obviously you haven’t been to Georgia. Or maybe you were too stoned to know where you were. Beautiful mountains, gorgeous island beaches, lush greenery and trees. Big cities, quaint historic small towns, rolling hills and rich farmland. It’s one of the most beautiful places on earth. Gods Country. I’ve traveled over a lot of this world - seen a lot of countries and most of the USA and I have adequate resources to live most anywhere I choose and I chose Georgia.

I went for a hike on the App Trail in northern GA. It’s beautiful up there, and the towns are humble but nice. I also enjoyed my visit to Savannah to see my buddy at SCAD one year. Atlanta is just too big for my small town brain; can’t handle it.

Pleeese! AU in Georgia? Never happen. Our academic standards are way too high.

Georgia is a third world shite hole for this Country.

So you like to go to the only place in Georgia that sucks? The literal shite hole of the state is what you enjoy?
