Based on what some folks are saying, that Jimbo will "fully utilize the transfer portal", who would be the top candidates? I deliberately left out Antonio Doyle, Elijah Blades (LOL) and any 2* or below players and didn't go back any further than late-August.

We were after Taj Harris who committed to Kentucky (formerly at Syracuse) so I think a WR is a safe bet. Also think we look hard at OT. There will be a ton of entries into this once the regular season ends I would think

LSU - Myles Brennan (3*)

He fought off the supernatural, the ghosts that shoved him down the stairs and the old Civil War generals, in full regalia, that stood over his bed watching him sleep. No, really, his mom said: The property — the one she’s standing on right now, on this sun-splashed Wednesday — is haunted, and the house was, too.

What do you mean? He's a 3* safety who lost a star when he entered the portal.

Don’t think we need anyone from the portal. We have great depth and youth, and our transfer this year is the worst piece of the OL.

I'd pick up a WR or corner. Jameson Williams transferred to Alabama from Ohio State and is their leading receiver.

Fisher would be doing the program a disservice if he wasn't aggressive in pursuing talent in the transfer portal.

You don't get extra points for just playing guys you signed out of HS. If your opponents are utilizing extra opportunities to acquire more talent, you damn well better be doing the same (or more)

I'm going to update this as often as I can. I am tempted to remove running backs from this discussion based on the Moss commit.

I'd like to see a good CB and OT, you can't have enough of either. If there is still room then find a possession WR that can catch the ball, as a 4th option I'd look for a TE just because of Cupp.

We aren’t going to be looking at RBs.

I think WR OT possibly CB are the most likely spots

I imagine Ricks either returns to LSU after the new hire is announced, goes to tOSU or USC if their hire comes with a manila accessory
