Yes I think it's pretty clear the O-line losses from last year plus moving to a new QB and now a second string one at that, we arent as good as thought we'd be. Sad to say it but even though we were ready for Mond to move on, we'd probably be 5-0 right now with him at QB, even with our sub par o-line. Probably 4-1 or 5-0 with King I think as well. Calzada is a nice kid, but he just isnt a gamer.

The raise I dont blame on Fisher or his agent, A&M has to look at whats best for itself and do a better job of reading the situation. He was already one of the highest paid coaches in CFB, was someone really going to steal him? I dont think so, so not sure why we agreed to the raise. But thats A&M, we do dumb things like give national championship trophies with blank dates and other cringeworthy stuff. We need new leadership at the top, its as simple as that.

I havent been happy with how hes managed this season so far, but I'm still on the Jimbo train. I just dont see a better guaranteed coach out there we could get that would be a for sure upgrade. Look at what the sips did with Mack brown and how they've been wandering through the proverbial coaching desert ever since (I dont think Sark is going to be a long time). Remember, the grass isnt always greener on the other side, so be careful what you wish for.

And all the coaching talk is moot at this point, with that extension Jimbo is gonna be here for at least another 3-5 years now, so theres no point in speculating anyways. Nobody else is gonna offer a higher contract and we probably cant buy him out until it comes down a bit, so bitch and moan all people want, the dude is going to be here. Might as well support him and the program and hope he gets it figured out.

There is no penalty if he leaves, so an alternative is to make him so miserable that he takes another job, such as USC or LSU.
