I know why Harsin chose to receive the kickoff.

He wanted to make sure they had the Auburn friendly end zone at the end of the game.

That was a very smart thing to do.

Oh, and for all the “why didn’t he go for two” crowd after our last touchdown. There was no statistical advantage to do so.

I thought we could’ve bled the clock during the GW drive a bit more.

Other than that I thought it was a good called game by Harsin.

Also thought the refs were excellent. There will always be missed holding penalties on both sides but overall pretty clean

That game is probably a whole lot different had the targeting on Hall been upheld. He played a heck of a game with an already depleted front 7.

Agreed about Hall, and as frustrating as the muggings were the refs called a decent game. At least were pretty fair at crucial moments with Hall being one of the big ones.

I appreciated their quick reviews. No need to drag those out when unnecessary

Harsin and crew made great halftime adjustments again, there will be growing pains but we are going in the right direction. Gus would not have made any adjustments and just shite the bed in the second half. Harsin plays chess while Gus played checkers!

Didnt think about that, but in hindsight it explains why he was trying so desperately to get Bo’s attention at the end of the third. He didn’t want him to run another play in the shadow of their EZ if he didn’t have to. Pretty smart thinking.

I couldn't tell if he was trying to get Bo to hold off on running a play or trying to get his attention to let him know the clock was running down. His reaction looked like he was disappointed they didn't get the snap off so I was confused as to what Greg was talking about.

Either way, it worked out.

That is what made me realize why he wanted to choose the EZ and not to kick off.
