Our defense looked soft and out of shape.

I'm surprised and thankful we won. It's never a good sign when the opponent RB's and QB's are always falling forward for an extra 2-3 yards on every single tackle.

If that same defense comes out this weekend, Kiffin is going to make them cry.

I don't know why people think the Southern Miss game was somehow better. It was Southern Miss. Let's see how they do against a proper offense.

I hope our offensive game plan involves a lot of clock eating and long sustained drives.

Yea, I didn't really have any positive takeaways from the Southern Miss game on defense. Not a ton of negative ones either (other than losing the TE once or twice), but nothing tangible either way. Southern Miss is atrocious on offense, so there isn't much to take from that.

I agree wholeheartedly... at the same time Ole Miss hasn't played a team worth salt this season. The best they've had was Louisville... other than that it's Austin Peay and Tulane.

I'm not one to go transitive on college football games, but Ole Miss hasn't faced a proper defense yet either. Neither their offense or defense has been tested.

Either way, we'll know a lot more early Saturday evening. Roll Tide.
