It Takes Time -- Not Drinking the Kool-Aid

Everyone here knows we're all singing a totally different tune if UK and BC games have some slight adjustments and we come out of those games with the W.
That being said, it's painfully obvious our defense needs a ton of work. We all knew what BO left us with and we're experiencing it first hand. Hopefully we can somehow pull off an upset or two down the road and go bowling. Build on it and improve even more next season. I do believe Drink is the right coach, I am not sold on Wilks (but he is/was kind of setup for failure). I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and maybe some adjustments will come.

Drink and Wilkes are just fine. Drink is recruiting at unseen levels. Having a bad defense shouldn't be a surprise, its been bad for a while. The transfer portal may speed the healing, but a few more top 20 classes and we will be just fine.

I bet we see a ton of transfer portal players coming in next year. We need to move on with the upperclassmen we have, and bridge the gap until these 4* stars are ready in 2 yeas.

Agree with what you said except that we have 4 games remaining that would not be upsets in Vandy, N. Texas, USC and Tenner.

The LSU game last year I think got a lot of folks ahead of schedule. This is really year one of the rebuild. The defense was bad last year, but got papered over by a NFL grade linebacker.
We need 'croots. And Drink can 'croot. I'm still looking forward to 2023.
And I don't want to hear about Arkansas. They had good 'croots all along. Now they finally have a coaching staff that knows how to use them. We're in a far deeper hole to dig out.

Arkansas is going to get blasted Saturday and then everyone will shut up about them for awhile
