Alabama could do it every year. Saban just doesn't want to embarrass people. I mean, we've been up 45 to 14 at half and decided that's good enough and pulled back.

It's not cool to run the score up on cupcakes who you're paying to get beat down, I agree. Shutouts are more impressive against those teams, or at least it's what you should be aiming to do.
Keilan Thompson is our 3rd string back so we were having to go even deeper than that to stop scoring. Speaking of which, I love him.

That's no brag, just fact.
I remember when Saban got mad at a freshman rb who scored a long td against us when ahead in the game big.
I respect him.
