It doesn’t help we have a QB with a below average arm. Teams don’t respect his running ability or his ability to throw it past them accurately past 12 yards. It’s a significant flaw. It really compresses the field for the defense. It’s no big deal to give up a ton of yards to our offense because we are 1) gonna have a penalty 2) have a turnover based on volume of plays 3) compressed field when we get to the red zone 4) sp teams screwup.

Odds are, one of the above is going to happen 3/4 drives.

Until this game, the QB was 75% in deep passes.
