ETA: Hot take alert and for the tldr; Book it. Georgia will win it all.

The talent is there. The Georgia defense is as good as anything we've seen since Bama's defense in 2016. Kirby has the same haircut but at least it's probably fresh.

The teams are down in the SEC ... even a little bit in the West.

Your toughest regular season opponent is Florida. You should have no real trouble beating them. Arkansas is good but their strengths play well into Georgia's strengths. Auburn is good but again, the same. Bo is good against the lesser leagues but is not a very good SEC QB.

Should you make it to Atlanta, you should easily beat any West team there besides Bama.

Still, Bama will likely have a down season where they could only have 1 or 2 losses and still get there. Their west competition is not that stiff except maybe for Arkansas.

Should you play Bama, your offense should click against their run defense which doesn't appear to be very good at this point. Their offense is good no doubt but your defense is pretty fricking stout.

For the playoffs, the teams ooc are very soft. You may have some trouble with Oregon but I doubt you will.

This is your year. Not just for a playoff appearance but a Natty. If you don't get it done this year, when do you ever get it done? This is your time, Dawgs. Rise up or put on your savage pads whatever you people say/do in Georgia.

God Bless and Go Dawgs.

If they can’t win it this year they never will. Bama, Clemson, Ohio State, OU all look beatable

Maybe not but they *should* win. In my view they are the best team in the country right now.

We still have issues to deal with like our CB's and hopefully we can make it through with limited injuries unlike the start of the year.

That's for the players. For the fans, there is always hope. Hell, we've only lost one game but who knows? ... oh who am I kidding LSU would be lucky to get a 2nd tier bowl game but still. Anyways, your team should win.

If you go into a season, wincing at every turn and then your team wins it all, you will not enjoy it as much as you would have had you gone into it wide-eyed.

Clemson scored how much against Tech? Georgia’s defense hasn’t proven shite except it beats really bad offenses. That’s great and what it should do, but doesn’t mean it’s the best in years yet.

We heard Bama had their best defense in ten years and UF gashed it all day. It looked elite vs Miami just like Georgia vs Clemson. Turned out Miami sucked, and Clemson sucks. Georgia isn’t Bama. They don’t get auto crowned till the prove it.

A big reason so many of us enjoyed it in 2019 was because we had no fear. After we saw what Burrow did to Texas and the rest of the SEC week by week, we knew we were on to something special. We began to anticipate beating Bama, winning the SEC and then winning it all at the end. Therefore we enjoyed it collectively. Dawgs should embrace this opportunity. Your life will be better for it and no more 1980 nonsense.

So does Georgia, Einstein. So what do we have here? Just like any other year that plays itself out in a full season. Ebb and flow, victories, and some setbacks.

It is a hot take after all. At this point who would *you* put at the top and most likely to win it all? And don't say Bama.

We don't have to be 2020 BAMA to win it all this season. The 2009 team that went undefeated had numerous near-death experiences. 2011 lost the game of the century, at home, and destroyed the great pretender a few weeks later for the NC. 2012 lost to Johnny Football and survived a close game in BR and the SECCG to destroy Notre Dame for the championship. 2015 we were written off after the ole miss loss and the media and polls had us as the betting underdog when we went to Athens. We were a different team and gave a different effort and destroyed those puppies in the rain.

Lost to the barners in 2017 and didn't make the SECCG. Didn't matter, went to the playoff and beat the puppies again for the title. And of course, the death star that was 2020.

So after a trip to the swamp that we just WON and coach Saban was just named National Coach of the Week for, I won't get in a hurry to bury the #1 ranked Tide verbally. Cause on the field, as I mentioned, history shows it's gonna take a freakin' big shovel.
