Shown you several coaches that made "destination jobs" ... and several that have pissed away the same.

But hey - you know a phrase - "destination job". Not like you're ever going to question it's meaning, or how it got into circulation. That would take focused, hard concentration ... and a willingness to examine your own initial assumptions.

Much easier to spout "destination job - no" and "destination job - yes". You got a list ? Who gives a shite. If you did ... it would be self-serving. "destination job" is your trump card. If you say that - I guess all conversation is supposed to stop.

Are you disagreeing that there are destination jobs and non destination jobs?

I'm saying the description is fluid. And no fan-base can ever be so confident that "my team will always win" or, if the stars align, so defeated that "my team will never win".

James Franklin is only at Penn State because of Joe Paterno. Who was a shite in my book. But without a doubt ... he raised a cow college to "destination job".

The label is not permanent. It's not like you gain "destination job" status and suddenly get extra recruiting visits. Nor are you on some "outside club" without "destination job" status.

Who in their right minds want to go to Nebraska now ? Former "destination job". Anybody want to follow up at Michigan ?

Bobby Bowden proved that if you're a good enough coach and willing to put in the time, you can make it a destination job.
