Not to mention ESPN kept the Pitts-Vols coverage past Georgia-UAB game. If only they were smarter, they could have switched the game based on the region. We as Dawg fans do not like to miss anything even the 2nd play, Georgia scored.

ESPN finally broadcast a 4K/UHD game (last weekend, maybe?) and it looked much cleaner to me.
Were you streaming? If so, which service?

Youtube TV for me
EDIT: I just checked the aTm/Colorado game and the UGA/UAB game.
aTm was 2160 HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) which is both SDR and HDR combined in one signal
UGA was 2160 with no HDR
However The UGA game was cleaner and more colorful to my eye

Games on ESPN+ suck. The 1st Auburn game the color would change when the camera changes.

Fox's 4K is apparently not true 4K, but every game I've watched other than Oregon/OSU had looked really good.
However, the UGA/UAB game was on a entirely different level. It was insane how clear and detailed the picture was.
I have YouTubeTV, FYI

If it weren’t for live sports espn would be no better than tmz and they can’t even figure that shite out half the time. Hate we’re leaving cbs for them

Yes, like Allhands and SOG, YouTube TV.
As mentioned, IMO there is something screwy with Fox's implementation—it's probably the HLG format that Allhands confirmed. (I mean it's not terrible, it's just weird.)
The guide shows that the Florida State at Wake Forest game on Saturday will be on ESPN in 4K/UHD (not sure if it's HDR). See if you can catch that one and compare their PQ to prior Fox broadcasts.
