Despite the two PI calls during the Clemson game he has played lights out the past two games a little green around the edges but I believe that kid is going to be something special

Agreed. Playing Clemson in your first ever college start is not ideal. Now that he can get eased in he'll be fine.

I expected him to be great from the beginning but the injury derailed last year for him. But go back and watch his camp tapes and stuff. He’s consistently in the hip pocket of some of the best receivers in the country in the 1v1 reps. Don’t usually see that from a guy the size of a safety.

He was #1 CB in his class. That is the expectation

He came in raw from a technique point and wasn’t really tested in high school

It was refreshing to see a DB turn around and find the ball yesterday lol.

Not to mention there is a world of difference in high school football and covering high school receivers and covering major college receivers. It's aHUGE leap, at best.
I had flashbacks to Tyson Campbell when he tackled that Clemson receiver.

The first PI in the Clemson game was a good call. The 2nd PI in the end zone was obvious but prevented a TD so I was ok with that one.
