God only knows how a "cow college" in a South Alabama hick town (less than two hours from downtown Atlanta -- 1:30 to Hartsfield) produced the current CEO of Apple (America's 3rd largest corporation with annual revenues larger than the GDPs of all but 7 nations worldwide); the founder of Wikipedia; more astronauts than any SEC school and number five nationally; a number of Academy/Grammy/Pulitzer winners; the current Secretary of Defense; the first African-American female editor of a major newspaper (the AJC); a current Georgia Supreme Court Judge; CEOs of Accenture, Time Warner, the Southern Company and more; and, countless other accomplished grads. Seriously Bubba, 1980 called and wants its cliche' Auburn bashing back. Like it or not, Auburn ranks only behind UGA and GA Tech in number of alumni concentrated in metro Atlanta. BTW -- what year did your worldly jet-setter self graduate from UGA which is also an outstanding national land grant university just like Auburn. Hmmm?
