Based one what we’ve seen from week one, the only tram in the west that’s looked like shite was LSU. You could possibly make an argument for MSU for struggling against La Tech, and A&M started slow against Kent State but put them away in the second half. All in all, I’d say other than LSU the West looks pretty damn tough right now.

MSU is unknown because we looked awful for 2 quarters, and great for 2 quarters. We clean up the penalties and turnovers we are a decent team.
Arkansas looked very meh.
State will beat Vandy and hopefully win the other 3 OOC games. Arky, Kentucky, and LSU are possible wins.
Any other game would be an unexpected upset

That’s a good point. It’s week one and not uncommon for teams to take a few quarters to settle down. For the moment MSU deserves the benefit of the doubt. Could be first game jitters or rust or whatever. As is the case with all of our teams, time will tell.

We don't do that here. If you have an impressive opening game, then we talk about how bad your opponenet is.
