This raise is obviously based on where the program is going. They are a top 10 team about to pull in another great recruiting class. Best they have ever recruited. Period.

Jimbo is doing a great job.

LSU has won 3 national titles with 3 different head coaches and played for another national title. Meanwhile Jimbo has yet to make it to Atlanta. Who’s doing better??

This is exactly it. The fact is that A&M is reaching the point that in the next year or two we will be in the T5 teams talent-wise, and it isn't really stopping. The only thing that derails that is if he leaves. Fisher, and his entire staff, are getting raises

If nothing else, A&M has shown the commitment to winning.
