Osborne benefitted from a lack of NCAA oversight of PEDs, shady in-state recruiting of "partial qualifiers", as well as 150 man rosters. Once those things were taken away they collapsed and haven't recovered.

Yep, but it was Texas' fault...according to Nebraska. Couldn't take responsibility for their shitty football practices and needed someone to be the devil.
