I think it more likely comes down to Clemson steadily taking every SC recruit they want, and UGA taking what they can as well. USC can no longer rely on in-state recruiting like they used to. USC now needs to recruit nationally, and that's a tough sell with the higher caliber athletes because of the hole you are in now. I almost feel sorry for you guys.
