Why is Alabama's "kryptonite" the Big XII?

Alabama is undoubtedly the best college football program out there yet they've historically struggled (for Alabama) vs the weak Big XII and some of its teams.
Consider this, Alabama has an average 6-4 overall record vs the weak Big XII and an eye popping record of 3-11 vs Texas, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State as stand alone programs with a losing record to each.
Please.

Certainly not lately. Almost all of those losses came from the poll era.
Big XII teams that were in the SWC or the Big 8 back in the day were ruthless.

I’d be fine with that record if I had the hardware since 2009 that Bama has.

I looked up the Okie State game. Bama played them in a bowl at the end of the '06 season. I believe that's when the famous Joe Kines interview happened.

I'm not sure if I would. 7-1 against Bama is just incredibly dominant. I look forward to penciling in a W there every other year.

And none of them have a winning record vs. Alabama since Saban has been here.
