Most of those games where played before there was a B12.
Bama is kryptonite to the B12 the same as they are for everyone. They are dominating more in the last decade than anyone in modern history & have shown they’ll swoop into your backyard & take your best in recruiting.

I was at both 2002 and 2003 games. OU was lucky to get hot late in the 4th. Lead 23-3. Bama came back to lead 27-23. OU was fortunate to get going late in the game to win it.
That 2003 game drove us fans up a freaking wall. 20-13 isn’t exactly a runaway. Plus a fake punt then a TD was truly the saving grace. That ended up being a 4 win Alabama squad.
