Well I have thought this may be going on for some time. It depends on if the "liberalness" bleeds into the football program. I'm not sure if that has happened yet. I thought that may have happened to Missouri. But again, maybe not yet. But the farther left these campuses shift, the less they care about football. Texas alums still care about football.

If extreme liberalism had spread to our football program Charlie Strong would still be our coach.

Missouri doesn’t belong in the equation due to one key data point:

They’ve never been championship level.
