You could do it with 8 games and play everyone twice in 6 years, but I think it will be 9 SEC games.

It pretty much has to, IMO.
The cross-divisional scheduling is already screwed-up enough with 14 teams.

No, there needs to be a chance for a team to schedule some OOC opponents and local schools. Many rent-a-win teams need the paycheck to help their programs.

I think it is pretty much guaranteed at this point to go to 9 games, the better question is, does it go to 10 games?
