Neither is aTm airing its grievances publicly and working behind the scenes to stop a deal the SEC has clearly already secured the votes to approve. The reason this conference has always stayed so strong is practically everything we do has been done unanimously publicly, even if we disagree privately.
aTm couldn't be trusted with advance notice which is why they were not afforded that respect.
I was a huge proponent of adding aTm and still want them in the conference, but this public temper tantrum they are throwing has made me lose a lot of respect for them. They look so weak when they could have looked strong and made Texas looks like the little brother begging for a seat at the table.

timeline of events and past history are why people are acting the way they are.
No sane person would just sit there and allow this to happen when they can say they are the only Texas School in the SEC. If Texas wasn't one of the hottest recruiting beds in the Country it wouldn't be a big deal.

Exactly. They got caught up in emotions and didn't think of how they could spin it to make themselves look better.
Instead they look scared (whether that is true or not).
