So when does Texas and Oklahoma start playing in sec?

If this goes through in the next couple of weeks is it 2025 before they play here?

Big 12 Grant of Rights exists through 2024, I think. So yeah. 2025.
Lots of time for things happen between now and 2025. The time frame alone makes me think this deal is unlikely to happen as reported. Too many other players involved. Too much time. Something will happen, I don't know what. But it probably won't be this.

Would guess Fall 2022.
Gives a full year to hash out the separation agreement. Nobody wants to have UT and OU drag it out for several years.
It would also depend on who they have to backfill with in the Big12 to match the obligations of their existing contracts. The dominoe effect this will have will reach to the Sunbelt eventually
