You're right, but it's gonna ruin college sports as we know it. The entire thing is gonna start getting very messy, and there'll be problems we haven't even thought of yet. The sport itself will quickly become 2nd fiddle to all the bullshite that's gonna occur as fallout when this decision follows its course.

In regards to "cheating," we all know damn well this won't fix anything either.

There are still plenty of limiting rules in place for NIL that will get broken immediately, by nearly every major school (or their boosters) in the country.
